Dana Bauer rode through her rural
girlhood on a Morgan gelding called Apollo. Over the years,
the duo experimented with almost every form of riding and competing,
ranging from egg and spoon races to
dressage. These fond memories inspire
her today when creating new art and designs for Dana's Doodles (founded
2001). Her art has appeared in Horse Illustrated, Young Rider,
Dressage Today, and Horse and Rider magazines. She has illustrated
for The Classic Western Rider, and Itty & Bitty. Her products are
carried by Wild Horsefeathers and several tack shops throughout the U.S.
She currently lives with her husband, son, and their menagerie of pets in
Algonac, Michigan.
